We purchased Webcam.im today from a very professional seller on DNForum called WebsiteDomain. Non standard TLD’s can be tricky sometimes and I think you need to really find a good fit for them. As such, I’m very excited about Webcam.im because I think it’s such a great branding fit for Webcam Instant Messenger software.
Getting Webcam.im also gave me my first introduction to nic.im, the Isle of Man Domain Name registrar. We’ve used a lot of registrars and in my opinion nic.im’s basic but efficient. This is out first registration there but I hope not our last I look forward to getting more relevant .IM domains soon.
